O R D E R

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. This criminal original petition has been filed for directing transfer of investigation in Crime No.1088 of 2020 on the file of the fifth respondent.

3. The petitioner is a practicing lawyer. Her brother Nithiyanandham lodged information before the fifth respondent on 16.12.2020 that his father was found dead under suspicious circumstances. Thereupon, the aforesaid First Information Report was registered under Section 174 of Cr.P.C. The specific case of the petitioner is that the injuries were found on the body of her father. In fact the photographs enclosed in this petition indicate that. The photographs were taken before conducting of the postmortem. According to the petitioner, the petitioner has produced a copy of the First Information Report in Crime No.591 of 2005 registered on the file of the fifth respondent way back on 16.07.2005. It indicates that there was a strain in the relationship between the petitioner's father and one Natrayan. In the petitioner's representation also, the petitioner has given some lead.

4. In order to address the concerns of the petitioner, I direct the fourth respondent to take over the investigation in Crime No.1088 of 2020. The fifth respondent shall hand over the entire CD file to the fourth respondent and without any delay. The fourth respondent will file final report on merits and in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. This criminal original petition is disposed of on these terms.
