When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) would submit that the petitioner is a habitual offender, who has got 17 previous cases. He would submit that recently the petitioner has been arrested in Crime No.4 of 2023 registered by Devathanapatti Police Station for the offence punishable under Section 302 IPC. He would also submit that the respondents are also taking steps to remand him in this case.
