ORDER

This writ petition is filed for Writ of Mandamus to direct 1st Respondent to grant permission and necessary protection to conduct Pongal Festival which is scheduled to be held on 16.01.2026 from 09.00 am to 06.00 pm based on the petitioner's representation dated 20.12.2025.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents.

3. Considering the facts of the case, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 20.12.2025 and pass appropriate orders within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In the event of any rival claim, the respondents shall allot separate dates to the rival groups. 2/4
