ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who is arrayed as accused No.3 apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 4(1)(aaa), 4(1-A) of TNP Act (Transport) r/w. Section 66 of Tamil Nadu Excise Rules in Crime No.243 of 2013 on the file of the respondent police and hence, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The prosecution case is that the accused have illegally transported 1750 lts. of rectified spirit.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case and the entire investigation is over.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) vehemently opposed the anticipatory bail petition stating that the petitioner is having one previous case.

5. Considering the gravity of the offences and the bad antecedent of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner and hence, this petition is dismissed.
