ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner/Sole Accused, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 4 (1) (a) r/w 4(1-A) of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition Act in Crime No.1009 of 2023, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner was found in illegal possession of 15 numbers of brandy bottles (each containing 180ml). Hence, the case. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that the petitioner is innocent and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. Hence, he prays for grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) appearing for the State submitted that apart from this case, the petitioner is having six previous cases of similar in nature. Hence, he opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 5.Considering the previous antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
