Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 5 herein, to remove the encroachments of hut and fencing made by the sixth respondent herein made on northern side of Suruli River in Survey No.1533 of Veerapandi Village, Palanichettipatti, Theni, as per the representation dated 25.10.2024 and submit a report in a time bound manner before this Court. ORDER

Heard both sides.

2.The petitioner alleges that encroachments have been committed on the petition mentioned Suruli river by putting up fence. He adds that as a result, right of access of the public to the nearby temple has been affected. 3.We direct the respondents to ensure that the public have a free access to the temple. Beyond this direction, we are not inclined to interfere in this matter.

4.This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
