PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to direct the first and second respondents to produce the body or person of the petitioner's husband namely Manikandan, S/o. Palaniappan aged 27 years before this Court and set him at liberty. For Petitioner : Mr.K.Navaneetharaja For R-1 and R-2 : Mr.R.M.Anbunithi Additional Public Prosecutor

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the first and second respondents to produce the body or person of the petitioner's husband, namely, Manikandan, S/o. Palaniappan, aged about 27 years, before this Court and set him at liberty.

2. The petitioner lodged complaint alleging that her husband was missing.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that, on enquiry, it revealed that the petitioner's husband is now living with other woman. Therefore, it seems to be a family dispute between the petitioner and her husband.

4. In view of the above, no directions are required in this petition. This Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the Family Court for appropriate relief in manner known to law, if so advised.
