ORDER : FOR BAIL IN CRIME NO.1119 OF 2020 ON THE FILE OF THE RESPONDENT POLICE.
This petition has been listed today under the caption 'for extension of time' to dispose of the case in Special S.C.No.68 of 2020.
2.This Court, by an order dated 27.01.2021, directed the trial Court to dispose of the case within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of that order.
3.Now the learned Special Court for Exclusive Trial of Cases under POCSO Act, Thanjavur (FAC), has sent a letter dated 16.06.2021 requesting extension of a further time to dispose of the case in Special S.C.No.68 of 2020, pursuant to the order of this Court dated 27.01.2021.
4.Perused.
5.The reasons stated in the letter dated 16.06.2021 are accepted and considering the prevailing Covid-19 situation, a further period of three months time is granted, to comply with the direction of this Court, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
