The present writ petition has been filed seeking a Mandamus as against the third respondent to release and disburse a sum of Rs.48,00,000/- (Rupees Forty Eight Lakhs only) being the bill amount for the work executed and completed under the Jal Jeevan Mission in Vaniyangudi Panchayat, Sivagangai District.

2. According to the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner, the work has been completed long back and so far the bill amount has not been cleared. Seeking the said amount, a representation has been given to the third respondent on 09.12.2025. Since there is no response, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Considering the above said facts, the third respondent is directed to consider the request of the petitioner and pass orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above said observation, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
