PRAYER:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, forbearing the Respondents from closing the Special Schools for Child Labour in the District of Respondent No.11 without fully Educating the last Child Labour and terminating the services of the petitioners and consequently direct the Respondent to consider the appointment of the petitioners in the posts of Anganwadi Worker, Noon Meals Staff, Secondary Grade Teacher and B.T. Teacher etc., as per the qualification and experience of the petitioners.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) The relief sought for in the present Writ Petition is to forbear the respondents from closing the Special Schools for Child Labour in the District of Respondent No.11 without fully educating the last Child Labour and terminating the services of the petitioners and consequently, direct the respondents to consider the appointment of the petitioners in the posts of Anganwadi Worker, Noon Meals Staff, Secondary Grade Teacher and B.T. Teacher etc., as per the qualification and experience of the petitioners.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioners brought to our notice that the petitioners are not in service as of now. More so, the child labour schools were closed and non functional. Therefore, the cause arose for filing of the Writ Petition did not exist as of now. If at all any grievance 7/10

relating to service exists, the petitioners are at liberty to approach the competent authorities to redress the same.

3. With the above said observations, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
