ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who is arrayed as accused No.4 in Crime No.
19 of 2015 on the file of the respondent police apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 294 (b), 498(A), 323 and 506(i) IPC r/w. Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Women Harassment Act and hence, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the accused have joined together and demanded additional dowry of Rs.10 lakhs and the husband of defacto complainant came in a drunken mood daily and harassed her. 3.It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is the sister-in-law of the defacto complainant and she is a permanent resident of United States of America and she is a green card holder. He would further submit that the entire allegations are made only against the first accused and the accused Nos.
2 and 3 were already granted anticipatory bail by this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.19086 of 2014. 4.Heard the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) and perused the records.
5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner, with certain https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
conditions. Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on her appearance before the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Bodinaickkanur, Theni District and on each of them executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned and on further condition that the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police as and when required for interrogation. The petitioner shall comply with the condition stipulated under Section 438 Cr.P.C. scrupulously.
6.
