The subject matter of challenge in all these writ appeals pertains to the common order passed by the learned Single Judge made in W.P(MD)Nos.9141, 8988, 8722, 9140 & 8989 of 2007, dated 18.12.2008.
2. The writ petitioners in those writ petitions were permitted to participate in the selection by directing the Public Service Commission to accept all their applications and to act upon all their applications and to publish the results of the examination and to proceed further with the process of selection in accordance with law.
3. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

4. When the writ appeals were entertained, no interim orders were passed by this Court and hence, by now, the entire selection process must have been completed.
5. In view of the same, we are not inclined to go into the merits of the matter and nothing survives in these writ appeals.
