Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of writ of certiorarified mandamus calling for the records pertaining to the impugned order in ep.K.vz;.249765/ fh.k.ep.1/2008 dated 10.06.2010 rejecting the petitioner's medical claim that the surgery is not in the list approved by the Government, quash the same as illegal void and vitiated and direct the Respondent No.1 to reimburse the medical expenses of Rs.21,150/- incurred by the petitioner at the Aravind Eye Hospital, Madurai from 07.09.2007 to 08.09.2007 within the time to be stipulated by this Court.

When the matter came up for hearing on 09.08.2019, there was no representation on behalf the writ petitioner and hence, the matter was directed to be posted under the caption "For Dismissal". In such circumstances, this Court has no other option except to dismiss the writ petition for non-prosecution.
