This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the second respondent to take action and give protection to the life and limb of the petitioner to cut the trees in S.No.648/2 New S.No.571/2A situated at East Chettiyapatty, Kumapatti Village, Kodaikanal Taluk, Dindigul District.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) on instructions submitted that petition enquiry is pending.

3. In view of the same, the second respondent is directed to complete the enquiry within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
