PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to direct the second respondent herein to provide necessary police protection in the light of his representation dated 05.12.2021, within the stipulated period as may be fixed by this Court.

ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to direct the second respondent herein to provide necessary police protection in the light of his representation dated 05.12.2021, within the stipulated period as may be fixed by this Court.

2. The petitioner has lodged a complaint before the second respondent, for which, a case in Crime No.1223 of 2020 has been registered for the offences under Section 294(b), 341 and 506(2) of IPC and the investigation is still pending. Further, the petitioner has also obtained a civil decree in O.S.No. 38 of 2008 on the file of the learned District Munsif, Thiruvaiyaru, dated 02.11.2009. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. Considering the above, the second respondent is directed to issue notice to the petitioner and the respondents 3 and 4 and after giving an opportunity of hearing, pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above observations and direction, the Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
