This writ petition has been filed to quash the proceedings of the first respondent made in G.O(D).No. 279, Higher Education (H1) Department, dated 18.12.2024 and the consequential proceedings of the second respondent made in University Order No.861/2024 (C1) dated 31.12.2024 and consequently direct the respondents 1 and 2 to grant Annual Increments from 2018 and 7th Pay Commission Benefit and further accommodate the petitioner as Administrative Officer at third respondent.

2. The issue raised in this writ petition is no longer res integra. The grievance of the petitioner is that the order of re-deployment cannot be made without pay protection. The Division Bench of this Court in W.A(MD)No.229 of 2025 by order dated 05.08.2025 directed the appellant therein to join the re-deployed post and also directed the second respondent therein to permit the appellant to report for duty. A further direction was also issued to adjust the intervening period as leave standing to his credit and the respondents were also restrained from taking any disciplinary action. Recording the statement of the learned Additional Advocate General, the petitioner's pay was also protected. 3.Applying the aforesaid judgment and other judgments relied upon by the Division Bench of this Court, this Court disposes of the present writ petition with the following terms: (a) The petitioner's pay shall be fully protected. (b) The petitioner shall report for duty and be permitted to join on 23.10.2025.

(c) The intervening period between the order impugned and the date of joining shall be adjusted against the leave standing to his credit and no disciplinary action shall be taken against the petitioner. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
