Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue writ of mandamus or any other writ or direction or order in the nature of writ, directing the respondents to issue patta in the petitioners name in the land in survey no.594/7 an extent of 0.0480 sq.m situated at Kamuthakudi Village and Post Paramakudi Taluk, Ramanathapuram District in accordance with law on the basis of her representation dated 30.11.2020 within the time stipulated by this Court. When the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.S.P.Maharajan, learned Special Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents / contemnors submitted that the order, dated 22.01.2022, made in W.P. (MD) No.18343 of 2020, has been duly complied with vide proceedings dated 31.08.2021.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that a copy of the proceedings dated 31.08.2021 has been handed over to him today morning and he has to ascertain from the party concerned as to the actual status.

3. Taking note of the above submissions of both parties and that it is a contempt proceedings, recording the proceedings of the Revenue Divisional Officer, Paramakudi, dated 31.08.2021, this contempt petition is closed. If the petitioner is still aggrieved, it is open to her to challenge the same in the manner known to law.
