(CRIME NO.165/2018) ... RESPONDENT/ RESPONDENT Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to extend the time for production of sureties in Crl.OP(MD) No.22991/2018 dated 04.01.2019.

Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of MR.P.BALASUBRAMANIAN, Advocate for the petitioner and of Mr.K.SUYAMBULINGA BHARATHI, Government Advocate(Crl.Side) on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- This petition has been filed seeking to extend the time fixed in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.22991 of 2018, dated 04.01.2019, for production of sureties.

2.The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner could not arrange the sureties within the time prescribed by this Court and hence, he prays for extension of time. 3.Heard the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side). 4.Considering submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this petition is ordered and the time for execution of sureties is extended by two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
