RESPONDENT/RESPONDENT Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to extend the time granted to the petitioner to surrender before the Judicial Magistrate No.II, Karur in Crl.O.P.(MD) NO.22698 of 2018 dated 21/12/2018 and thus render justice.

Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of MR.S.SANTHANAM RAJESHKUMAR, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.K.SUYAMBULINGA BHARATHI, Government Advocate(Crl. Side) on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- This petition has been filed to extend the time limit of the petitioner to surrender before the concerned Magistrate Court.

2. The learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was granted anticipatory bail in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.22698 of 2018 on condition to deposit of a sum of Rs.60,000/- to the credit of the concerned District Mineral Foundation Trust. However, the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ petitioner was unable to execute sureties within the stipulated time

as per the order in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.22698 of 2018, dated 21.12.2018. 3.In view of the same, time granted by this Court vide order dated 21.12.2018 in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.22698 of 2018 is extended for further period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that no more extension of time would be granted. If the petitioner does not produce the sureties within the stipulated time, the anticipatory bail granted to the petitioner shall stand automatically cancelled.
