ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a direction directing the third respondent to issue correct date of birth of the petitioner elder daughter namely Rajasuriya in the light of the SSLC Mark Statement. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court.

3. Today when the matter is taken up for hearing the learned counsel appearing for the first respondent would submit that the petitioner failed to produce the relevant documents in order to make corrections in the birth certificate.

4. In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to submit a fresh application along with required documents before the second respondent and on receipt of the same, the second respondent is directed 2/4

to conduct an enquiry and pass appropriate orders after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.

5. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
