Alleging that his daughter went missing on 31.12.2023 and her whereabouts are not known, the petitioner has filed this Habeas Corpus Petition. However, the respondents/Police on notice has found that the detenue fell in love with one Ranjith and got married on 22.01.2024 and same been duly registered at Joint Sub Registrar-II, Cuddalore-2. The certified copy of the marriage certificate has also been produced before this Court. Both the detenue/Thirumalaichelvi and Ranjith are present. The detenue does not want to speak with her parents who are present in Court.

In the light of the above fact, the Habeas Corpus Petition is closed. No costs.
