ORDER
[Order of the Court was made by D.KRISHNAKUMAR, J.] This writ petition was filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner dated 11.12.2023 seeking to allow the Bull of the petitioner to participate in the Balamedu Jallikattu scheduled to be held on 16.01.2024. 2.By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3.According to the petitioner, he has made a representation dated 11.12.2023 to the respondents seeking a direction to the respondents to permit the Bull of the petitioner in the Balamedu Jallikattu, which is scheduled to be held on 16.01.2024. Since the same has not been considered till date, the petitioner has approached this Court with the aforesaid prayer.
4.Mr.T.Amjadkhan, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3, on instructions, submits that the representation of the petitioner dated 11.12.2023 made by the petitioner was considered by the second respondent/Revenue Divisional Officer and orders have been passed vide proceedings in Na.Ka.No.8159/2023/C dated 09.01.2024. He has also produced a copy of the said proceedings.
5.In view of the fact that the representation of the petitioner dated 11.02.2023 has already been considered and necessary orders have been passed by the Revenue Divisional Officer on 09.01.2024, no further adjudication is required to be undertaken in this writ petition. Accordingly, this writ petition stands dismissed. The petitioner is at liberty to challenge the proceedings of the Revenue Divisional Officer before the competent civil Court, if he is so advised, in the manner known to law. No costs.
