O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking the issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents 4 and 5 to measure the petitioner's land and fix the four boundaries in S.No.252/4A1A, 252/4A1C, 376/5A, 381/2 and 394/7B situated at Sathiyamanagalam Village Kulathur Taluk, Pudukkottai District based on the petitioner's online Application No. 2021/0105/22/136933 on 09.12.2021.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the parties and perused the available materials on record.

3.The petitioner submits that an online application dated 09.12.2021 was made seeking survey and demarcation of the boundaries of the property in question. Since no action has been taken by the respondents 4 and 5, the present writ petition has been filed. 2/5

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 5 submits that after considering the claims of all parties, proper steps would be taken to survey and demarcate the land in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923.

5. In view of the above, this writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the fourth respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's application dated 09.12.2021 for survey and demarcation on merits and in accordance with law. Notice shall be issued to the petitioner and the owners of relevant adjacent lands and appropriate orders shall be passed in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act 1923, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
