This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate, Fast Track Court No.II, Madurai, to expedite the trial and dispose of S.T.C.No.311 of 2023 within a time frame fixed by this Court.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner, the aggrieved party in S.T.C.No.311 of 2023, seeks to expedite the trial in the learned Judicial Magistrate, Fast Track Court No.II, Madurai, due to undue delays. The case has been filed against the respondent for repayment of the money given by the petitioner. Despite proceedings, the respondents have not cooperated, and the case has been repeatedly adjourned. Due to which, the petitioner is suffering mental agony and hardship. Hence, the present Criminal Original Petition came to be filed.

3. Considering the nature of the case, the learned Judicial Magistrate, Fast Track Court No.II, Madurai, is directed to dispose of the case in S.T.C.No.311 of 2023 as expeditiously as possible within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
