Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondents.

2. The petitioner alleges that the respondents are harassing him in the guise of enquiry. It is stated that the petitioner is an office bearer in a political party and that he is being successively implicated in criminal cases on account of his political background.

3. The learned Government Advocate (crl.side) would state that a number of cases have been registered against the petitioner.

4. If that be so, the respondents can deal with the petitioner only in the manner known to law. If the respondents want to enquire the petitioner, they have to necessarily issue summons to the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
