ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the learned Additional Sessions Judge (PCR Court), Tirunelveli, to accept the surrender of the petitioner and consider his bail application on the same day on merits in relating to Crime No.582 of 2025 dated 24.11.2025 on the file of the second respondent police.

2. Considering the nature of the relief sought for, notice to the 3rd respondent is dispensed with.

3. The case of the prosecution is that due to previous enmity, the petitioner and some others trespassed into the defacto complainant's street with lethal weapons and threatened them with dire consequences and fled away from the scene of occurrence. Based on these allegations, an FIR has been registered against the petitioner. 2/5

4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and carefully perused the materials available on record.

Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for, this Court hereby direct the learned Additional Sessions Judge (PCR Court), Tirunelveli, to issue prior notice to the de facto complainant and thereafter, to consider the bail application of the petitioner on the same day of his surrender before that Court in connection with Crime No.582 of 2025 on the file of the 2nd respondent police.
