Heard both sides.
2.The petitioner is a resident of P.Sangaralingapuram Village in Peraiyur Taluk. His grievance is that the respondents are laying road across the channel in the petition mentioned survey numbers. This allegation is not disputed by the respondents. It is well settled that a road cannot be laid in a water body. If a metal road has already been laid, the same shall be obliterated and the original position shall be restored.
