PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the secod respondent to grant

emergency leave or (parole) for 4 days of petitioners husband namely Saravanan, S/o.Karuppaiah, for his Prisoner ID is 428658 convicted and sentenced to undergo life imprisonment by judgment dated 02.02.2023 on the file of the Additional Sessions and Mahila Court, Pudukottai in Spl.S.C.No.49 of 2022 by considering the petitioner's representation dated 08.11.2025 and 11.12.2025.

[Order of the Court was made by G.K.ILANTHIRAIYAN, J.] The prayer in the Writ Petition is to direct the second respondent to grant emergency leave or (parole) for 4 days of petitioners husband namely Saravanan, S/o.Karuppaiah, for his Prisoner ID is 428658 convicted and sentenced to undergo life imprisonment by judgment dated 02.02.2023 on the file of the Additional Sessions and Mahila Court, Pudukottai in Spl.S.C.No.49 of 2022 by considering the petitioner's representation dated 08.11.2025 and 11.12.2025.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court.

3. Pending Writ petition the representation of the petitioner was considered and rejected by an order dated 08.01.2026.
