Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court may be pleased to issue a writ of CERTIORARIFIED MANDAMUS or any other appropriate Writ, Order of Direction in the nature of WRIT OF CERTIORARIFIED MANDAMUS to call for the records relating to the impugned order in Na.Ka.No. 049742/ appointment 1(2) 2010 - 10 dated 06.04.10 on the respondent and to quash the same and consequently direct the respondent to issue appointment order to the petitioner to the post of Grade-II Police Constable for the year 2009.

the arguments of Mr.N.S.KARTHIKEYAN, Additional Government Pleader for the petitioner, the court made the following order:- Order of the Court was made by R.SUBBIAH,J.

This petition seeking to condone the delay of 177 days in representing the appeal is allowed and the delay is condoned, on condition that the petitioner shall pay a sum of Rs.500/-, within a period of one week from today, to the credit of creche account, Women Lawyer's Association, Madurai Bench of Madras High Court, Madurai. It is made clear that if the cost is not paid by the petitioner within the time stipulated in this order, the present Miscellaneous Petition shall stand dismissed automatically without any further reference to this Court.
