ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to direct to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to give proper protection to the life and limbs of the residents of Iruthayakulam, while they pass through the Gandhi Nagar main street in Survey No.458/3 of Vickramasingapuram Part-I Village, Ambasamudram Taluk, Tiruneleveli District.

2. The complaints lodged by the petitioner dated 30.12.2021 as against the fourth respondent, is pending with the file of the respondent police. On the strength of the said complaint, the petitioner now sought for police protection at the hands of the respondent police.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the third respondent is directed to conduct enquiry on the complaint lodged by the petitioner after issuing notice to the petitioner and the fourth respondent and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
