ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for an alleged offence punishable under Sections 341, 294(b), 506(ii) of IPC in Crime No.285 of 2015, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) appearing for the respondent.

3. The case of the prosecution is that one Murugan lodged a complaint alleging that the accused demanded a sum of Rs.10,000/- for issuance of Transfer Certificate.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He further submitted that at the instigation of the Management of another private school, this petitioner is falsely implicated in this case.

5. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that the accused had collected a sum of Rs.3,000/- from the de facto complainant for issuance of certificate, but, he demanded a sum of Rs.10,000/- and also abused him in filthy language. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, I am inclined to grant grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on his appearance before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Tenkasi and on executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned and on further condition that the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police as and when required for interrogation. The petitioner shall comply with the condition stipulated under Section 438 Cr.P.C. scrupulously.

6. The petitioner shall appear before the concerned Magistrate within a period of 15 days from the date on which the order copy made ready, failing which, the petition for anticipatory bail stands dismissed.
