ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for an alleged offence punishable under Sections 341, 294(b), 506 (ii) of IPC r/w. 379 (NP). of IPC in Crime No.149 of 2015, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) appearing for the respondent.

3. According to one Sabeer Ali, the accused had prevented him from laying road and also threatened him with dire consequences and took away a sum of Rs.1,500/-.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He further submitted that the petitioner belong to reputed family.

5. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that the petitioner is having one previous case of sand theft in Crime No.96 of f0215.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, I am inclined to grant grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on his appearance before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Uthamapalayam, Theni District and on executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned and on further condition that the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police daily at 10.00 am for a period of two weeks and thereafter, as and when required for interrogation. 6. The petitioner shall appear before the concerned Magistrate within a period of 15 days from the date on which the order copy made ready, failing which, the petition for anticipatory bail stands dismissed.
