[Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.] The order dated 18.03.2004, passed in O.A.No.6780 of 1995, by the Central Administrative Tribunal, is sought to be quashed in this writ petition.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner made a submission that the petitioner is no more and more so, the issue raised in this writ petition is relating to alteration of his date of birth.

3. At this length of time, such claims need not be considered and the learned counsel for the petitioner has also restricted the prayer by stating that the respondents may be directed to settle the terminal and pensionary benefits due to the deceased petitioner, if it is not already settled.

4. The respondents are directed to settle the terminal and pensionary benefits due to the deceased petitioner, if not already settled, in favour of his spouse / legal heirs by following the procedures as contemplated.

5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
