The Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of Mandamus, seeking a direction to the respondents to provide adequate treatment to the petitioner's mother, who is confined in Special Prison for Women, Madurai.

2. While pending this writ petition, the petitioner's mother was given treatment and in fact, on the accommodation of the Jail Doctor on 26.01.2021 she was taken to Rajaji Government Hospital, Madurai for better treatment and admitted in 223 ward as 'inpatient' and she was treated properly.

3. Recording the same, the writ petition stands closed. No costs.
