ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent herein not to harass the petitioner at the instigation of the respondents 3 and 4 herein in the light of the petitioner's representation dated 30.12.2024.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner.

The learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the petitioner is an accused in a case under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instrument Act in STC No. 219 of 2019 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court, Srirangam and Non Bailable Warrant was issued against the petitioner on 08.11.2024, therefore in order to execute the above said warrant the second respondent is searching the petitioner. However the representation of the petitioner is still pending and they will complete the enquiry and dispose of the same within a period of one week.

In view of the representation made by the learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) that they will dispose the representation of the petitioner within a week, this Court directs the second respondent to dispose of the representation dated 30.12.2024 within a period one week from the date of this order.
