PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the impugned clarification under Letter Ref.No.SCN/1053026273/2025 dated 24.12.2025 issued by the 1st respondent and to quash the same as unwarranted and unlawful and further direct the 1st respondent herein to reissue Passport under file No. MD1075841215225, to the petitioner herein, by considering the petitioner's explanation dated 29.10.2025 within a time frame as fixed by this Court. 1/4

ORDER
The present writ petition has been filed seeking a mandamus to quash the order passed by the first respondent wherein the petitioner has been called upon to offer his explanation on the adverse police report.
2. The learned Government Advocate(crl.side) appearing for the second respondent brought to the notice of the Court that the petitioner has been implicated in a criminal case in Cr.No.68 of 2024 on the file of the second respondent which has culminated in filing of a charge sheet in C.C.No.406 of 2025, on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Paramakudi.
3. In view of the above said facts, the petitioner is directed to approach the trial Court concerned seeking permission of the Court to go abroad. In case if any such application is filed, the same shall be disposed of within a period of two weeks. Depending upon the order to be passed by learned Judicial Magistrate concerned, the first respondent is directed to proceed in accordance with law.

4. With the above said observations, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
