The present petition is filed by the petitioner under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code seeking for a direction to the second respondent not to harass him under the guise of an enquiry. 2.Mr.A.Robinson, learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents, would submit that the petitioner's son is an accused in Crime No.251 of 2020 and still he is absconding.

3.Recording the said submissions, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the Police to follow the guidelines in D.K.Basu Vs. State of West Bengal reported in AIR (1997) SC 61.
