(Order of the Court was made by M.DURAISWAMY,J.) The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to conduct the Vice-President Election to the Pallapatti Village Panchayat, Sivakasi Union, Virudhunagar District to some other date and not on 11.01.2020 by considering the representation dated 06.01.2020. 2.The apprehension of the petitioner is that the election scheduled to be held on 11.01.2020 will not be conducted in a proper manner and therefore, the same should be postponed, but in the absence of any evidence to substantiate the said averment. On this ground, the election cannot be postponed.

3.In the event of illegal activities it is open to the aggrieved parties to give necessary complaint to the authorities. 4.With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
