In this writ petition, the petitioner seeks the intervention of this Court to restrain the first and second respondents from surveying and fixing boundaries in respect of the property in Survey No.204/4B, measuring an extent of 0.27.0 ares, situated at Moothakurichi Village, Pattukkottai Taluk, Tanjore District, by considering the petitioner's objection dated 02.01.2026 within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. With the consent of the parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. In fact, the petitioner had already submitted an objection on 02.01.2026. It is contended by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the property in question was sold by the petitioner's father without the consent of the petitioner and other interested parties in the property. 4. Since the survey is pursuant to the application filed by the fourth respondent in accordance with the Tamil Nadu Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923, it is the bounden duty of the first and second respondents to dispose of the petitioner's application. However, the objections raised by the petitioner and all other interested parties shall form part of the proceedings while conducting the survey. It is needless to state that any claim or counter-claim over the property shall be subject to the civil proceedings before the competent civil court. There shall be no order as to costs.
