The Writ Petition is filed seeking to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 17.12.2019 and issue direction to the respondents to rectify the error encrypted in the birth certificate of his daughter as "Ayyaru" instead of "Aunkumar @ Ayyaru".

2. As it is the correction of the name in the Birth Certificate, the same will be governed by Section 15 of Tamil Nadu Registration of Births and Deaths Act, 1969 r/w Rule 15. The representation of the petitioner dated 17.12.2019 already given shall be treated as an application under Section 15 of the said Act https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P(MD)No.726 of 2020 and the respondents are directed to consider the same and pass appropriate orders, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the person concerned, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
