ORDER

Heard Mr. V.Rajiv Rufus, Learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioner and Mr. P.Subbaraj, Learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice for the Respondent and perused the materials placed on record, apart from the pleadings of the parties.

The Contempt Petition is prosecuted for non-compliance of the order dated 17.12.2021 in W.P. (MD) No. 2936 of 2016, in which a direction had been issued to the Respondent to consider and dispose of the representation dated 12.12.2015 made by the Petitioner.

Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the Respondent produced a copy of the proceedings in Na.Ka.No. 52900/2022/U1, dated 20.10.2022 passed by the Respondent in furtherance to the order dated 17.12.2021 in W.P. (MD) No. 2936 of 2016 passed by this Court, which is placed on record.

The Learned Counsel for the Petitioner states that a copy of the same has now been furnished to him and he has acknowledged its receipt. 2/4

In view of the subsequent events, nothing remains for further consideration in the matter, but if the petitioner has still any grievance to be redressed, he is not precluded from working out his remedies before the proper forum in the manner recognized by law.
