JUDGMENT

This second appeal has been filed against the judgment and decree passed in A.S.No.14 of 2005 dated 28.09.2005 on the file of the Principal District Judge, Thanjavur, reversing the judgment and decree passed in O.S.No.118 of 1999 dated 15.04.2004 on the file of the Additional Subordinate Judge, Thanjavur.

2. When the matter came up for hearing, the learned counsel for the first respondent submitted that the sole appellant died on 14.06.2023. and steps have not been taken within the period of limitation as stipulated.

3. In view of the above, this second appeal is dismissed as abated. No costs.
