COMMON JUDGMENT (Judgment of the Court was delivered by DR.ANITA SUMANTH , J.) Only one respondent is represented by Mr.T.Aswin Rajasimman, who states that despite best efforts, he was unable to contact his client. There is no appearance on behalf of the sole respondent in the second Writ Appeal.
2.The order of the learned Single Judge is in favour of the Writ Petitioners to the effect that they should be employed as Drivers in the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (Madurai) Limited within a period of eight weeks from date of receipt of a copy of that order. The Transport Corporation has given liberty to subject the petitioners to a blood test, if it was apprehensive that if the blood count would be above 350 cells per microlitre of blood. Records of the State Transport Corporation do not reveal any efforts having been taken in this direction. 3.Since we are unable to obtain any information as to the status of the Writ Petitioners or whether they are still interested in pursuing the matter, we, albeit reluctantly, close these Writ Appeals. Liberty is granted 3/5
to the respondents to revive these matters should they so desire within six months from receipt of this order. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
