Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of writ of mandamus directing the respondents to initiate an appropriate action against the erred officials and consequently, set aside the patta transfer made by the then Tahsildar issued in violation of the rules and consequently issue patta in favour of the actual legal heirs of the deceased (Late) V.Sadacharam in respect of the land survey No.201-2 to an extent of 1.01.0 hectare situated at Kokoorani village, Thiruvadanai Taluk, Ramanathapuram District.

ORDER

This writ petition is filed against the order of the Tahsildar granting patta in favour one Rathinam.

2.This writ petition is filed that the Tahsildar, Thiruvadanai Taluk, passed erroneous order granting patta in favour of one Rathinam by receiving bribe. In this regard the petitioner has https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P(MD)No.15025 of 2011 lodged a complaint against the said Tahsildar. Therefore, the petitioner prays to take action against the erring Tahsildar and to set aside impugned order.

3.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that based on the enquiry report submitted by the enquiry committee, action has been taken against the erring officials, who issued patta and they have also restored the patta in the name of the petitioner. Therefore, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition. He has also produced a copy of certain documents in this regard.

4.Recording the submission of the learned Additional Government Pleader, this writ petition stands closed as no further order is required to be passed. No costs.
