COMMON ORDER Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioners, the learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) appearing for the first respondent and the learned Counsel for the second respondent.
2. The petitioners in Crl.O.P.(MD)NO.11311 of 2015 are arrayed as accused for the offences under Sections 452, 294(b), 324, 506(ii) I.P.C. and the petitioners in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.11355 of 2015 are arrayed as accused for the offences under Sections 147, 341, 294(b), 323, 324 and 506(ii) I.P.C.
3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, a joint memo of compromise has been filed by both parties in both cases and attested by the Counsel for both parties, in which it is stated that the parties have entered into a settlement out of Court and therefore, there is no necessity for proceeding further in this matter. The parties are also present.
4. This Court has also perused the nature of complaint and the joint memo of compromise filed in both cases. This Court is of the view that no useful purpose will be served by proceedings further in these matters.
5. Accordingly, both the Criminal Original Petitions are allowed and the proceedings in Cr.No.331 of 2014, on the file of the first respondent in Crl.O.P.(MD)NO.11311 of 2015 and in C.C.No.48 of 2015, on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.VI, Madurai are quashed.
