ORDER
The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 01.12.2025, in which the petitioner has requested the issuance of Natham Patta.
2. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner and his family members are in peaceful possession and enjoyment of the property in question and that a representation dated 01.12.2025 was made to the respondents seeking issuance of Natham Patta. Despite repeated requests, the respondents have not considered the representation. Hence, the present Writ Petition.
4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that the petitioner's representation will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
5. Recording the above submissions, this Writ Petition is disposed of, with a direction to the respondents 2 and 3 to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 01.12.2025, on merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, after giving due opportunity to the petitioner, and all other persons, who may be interested in the subject matter, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is also made clear that this Court has not expressed any of its views with regard to the merits of the matter and that it is open to the respondents 2 and 3 to consider the same on its own merits. Needless to state that in the event of any rival claims, the parties are at liberty to work out their remedies before the Civil Court. There shall be no order as to costs.
