ORDER

Today (ie.12.01.2024), in the morning mentioning time, the learned Counsel for the Petitioner sought short adjournment.

2. This Writ Petition was filed against the Respondent to take appropriate action, on the Petitioner's Complaint, dated 28.07.2022, by completing the enquiry and pass further orders.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions from the 2nd Respondent Police would submit that subject matter of the complaint is a pending "suit" between the parties. Also the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would further submit that the subject matter of this Petition is clearly attracts the Circular of the Additional Director General of Police. As per the Circular of the Additional Director General of Police, Law & Order, Tamil Nadu, in C.No.18/ ADGP/ L&O/Camp/2024, dated 09.01.2024, the Field Officers through out the State were warned not entertain Complaint or register a Case, involving money dispute, land dispute, property dispute, pathway dispute, intellectual property dispute, etc. Therefore, in the light of the Circular, the 2nd Respondent had closed the 2/4

same. He would also submit that the suit in O.S.No.510 of 2020, on the file of the District Munsif Court, Trichy, is pending.

4. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs. Index : Yes / No 12.01.2024 Internet : Yes / No NCC : Yes / No.
