ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus seeking to direct the respondents to release the arrears amount of terminal benefits including Employees Provident Fund (Fund), Gratuity, Earned Leave Salary and any other benefits to be paid to the petitioner.
2.Heard Mr.R.Alagumani, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.M.Siddharthan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 and perused the entire materials available on record.
3.When the matter was called up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader Mr.Siddharathan, circulated the proceedings of the third respondent Society dated 05.02.2024, wherein an order has been passed to release the pending arrear amount of the petitioner in four installments commencing from October 2024, February 2025, June 2025 and October 2025 by 2/5
making a payment of Rs.4,14,680/- in the month of October 2024, February 2025, June 2025 and a sum of Rs.4,14,681/- in the month of October 2025. He further submitted that by October 2025, the entire arrear amount would be settled.
4.Recording the aforesaid submission, this Court is inclined to direct the respondents to strictly implement payment process as undertaken vide the proceedings dated 05.02.2024. 5.In view of the same, this Writ Petition stands closed giving opportunity to the petitioner to reopen the Writ Petition in case of default, if any by the third respondent Society. There shall be no order as to costs.
