(In both cases) For Petitioner : No appearance For R1 : Mr.R.Murali For R2 : Mr.B.Jameel Arasu COMMON ORDER Both the writ petitions have been filed challenging an order passed by the Corporation under which the toilet maintaining contract was awarded in favour of the second respondent.

2. According to the petitioner they have entered into a contract with the first respondent Corporation on Develop, Build, Operate and Transfer basis (DBOT). The petitioner is said to have entered into DBOT agreement on 17.11.2009, for construction of some toilets in the city of Madurai on the above said basis and maintain the same. Thereafter, transfer it to the Madurai Corporation after a period of 10 years.

3. A perusal of the allotment letter, dated 04.11.2009 and DBOT agreement dated 17.11.2009, indicates that a period contemplated under both these agreements have got expired and nothing survives in the present writ petitions.

4. The Writ Petitions stands dismissed.

No costs.
