PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the 5th Respondent herein to implement the proceedings of 3rd Respondent herein made in Na.Ka. No.5388/2022 dated 27.07.2022 in the light of Petitioner's representation dated 04.01.2024 within a stipulated period as may be fixed by this Court. ORDER
The Petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to direct the 5th Respondent herein to implement the proceedings of 3rd Respondent herein made in Na.Ka. No.5388/2022 dated 27.07.2022 in the light of Petitioner's representation dated 04.01.2024 2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the Respondents. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

Heard the learned Counsel for the Petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the Respondents. 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the Respondents, on instructions, would submit that there are rival parties in the Village. Therefore, Peace Committee Meeting was held before the Thasildhar, Lalgudi, in which, both parties participated and amicable settlement reached. The learned Counsel for the Petitioner also concedes the same.
5. In the light of the settlement arrived before the Thasildhar, Lalgudi, the Petitioner is directed to hold the event. The Respondents 1 to 5 shall pass appropriate orders, in the light of the settlement reached. The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs. 12.01.2024 Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes / No NCC : Yes / No.
